Excellent fitting to turn/convert PEX-B to NPT

I’ve been working on some plumbing upgrades in my house for the past few months. I’m replacing some old galvanized pipes with PEX-B and brass fittings. It’s been a slow process since I’m doing it all myself, but I’m excited to see the results.One of the things I’m looking forward to is bringing my plumbing up to code. I found these connectors the other day, and I wish I had found them a few months ago. They’re a great upgrade from the fittings I was using before.These connectors replace two fittings I was using to make the conversion (Pex to right angle FNPT then 2” MNPT nipple to make the connection). They allow the conversion in one step and have an Xfitting connector in the event the fitting has to be removed. This is a big plus for chasing leaks.They’re a bit pricier than a similar brass connector, but the ease of removal/reuse makes it well worth the added cost. I highly recommend them.
